Robin Antar, North Tower 9/11, 2004
Media: Marble and Mixed-Media
Dimensions: 29″H x 15″ W x 20″ D
Description: This work is a response to the trauma of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. This piece is named after the north tower of the World Trade Center (1973–2001), of the Twin Towers, which were once the tallest buildings in the world. This work embodies the joining together of a major world event, as well as individual trauma, as many New Yorkers were deeply affected by this loss.

This work is from Antar’s Realism in Stone series.
