Description: Around 1870, a German immigrant named Charles Feltman opened the first hot dog stand on Coney Island in Brooklyn. He sold over 3,600 hot dogs in his first year. Now, hot dogs are a staple at American get-togethers, like baseball games, family BBQs, and July 4th celebrations. Whatever the occasion, these American traditions evoke nostalgia.
